Abstract
Super-lift Luo-converters are popular for high output voltage application for years. They have very high voltage transfer gains in geometric progression on stage-by-stage. The original design and calculation are based on the analysis with constant capacitors´ voltages in the steady state. Carefully considering the effect of the capacitor voltage drop, the output voltage ripples should be larger. We have to modify the calculation formulae of the Super-Lift Luo-Converters. After investigation we can see the output voltage variation is larger, and the ripple is obviously increased.
