Abstract :
This paper describes the basic algorithm of fuzzy data smoothing based on the idea of multi-dimensional membership functions. The procedure can generate elliptic, parabolic, etc. fuzzy partitions. Such fuzzy partitions offer many benefits in the fuzzy data processing area. Fuzzy data smoothing technique is useful for data with both random and spike noise and approximates human operation
