Some Autonomic Features of Hierarchica Components with Negotiable Contracts

In order to combine autonomic computing and component-based development, we propose to equip components with negotiable contracts. These contracts are automatically updated according to dynamic reconfigurations. Using responsibilities associated to components, negotiation mechanisms are provided, so that components and contracts can be safely adapted. Contracts then play a central role in feedback control loops to enforce some autonomic features.
