Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the problem of adaptive observer for simultaneous estimation of state and parameter for a class of nonlinear systems which is of the output depending normal form. Necessary condition for the existence of such an observer is derived. An academic example is given in order to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
