Abstract :
This paper described a control and data collection system about high-speed machine tool spindle simulation load thermal test platform. The system consisted of Electric spindle control module and heat-displacement-force data collection module. PLC as the core of the system combined human-computer interface to realize the running and stopping, frequency setting and overheat protection of spindle, and achieved the lubrication and cooling control, realized the control of spindle release tool shank and blowing air. In the data collection part, the PID adjusting and A/D conversion function of PLC were applied to convert the analog including simulation load force, temperature and displacement to digital which was collected from spindle. The final, the data was displayed in the host computer. The system has been applied successfully in the experiment.
