Abstract :
The model of static VAr generator (SVG) is carried out by state space averaging modeling and instantaneous reactive power theory. Based this model, the bivariate PI control strategy is applied in SVG. The DC-voltage reference is unascertainable in the control strategy, because of the equivalent resistance of the model is a nonlinear variable. Based on the model, the accurate mathematical model of DC-voltage is developed which contains no the equivalent resistance. The relevancy between DC-voltage and reactive power is built up, and the DC-voltage reference is gotten according to the reactive capacity of SVG. The simulation and experimental results validate the DC-voltage mathematical model is accuracy.
