Abstract :
This smart gas chromatograph (SGC) can be handled just like an ordinary transmitter. The SGC offers quick response to process changes and high-speed analysis of process gases. The SGC is designed to be mounted close to the process, to enhance responsiveness and speed. The SGC requires a rugged construction that would ensure reliable performance in the field. We took measures to improve the SGC´s vibration and temperature resistance. To improve the vibration resistance, we used a silicon chip thermal conductive detector instead of the conventional filament thermal conductive detector. To improve the temperature resistance, we adopted a temperature sensor to compensate for temperature changes. Compared to conventional process gas chronatographs, the SGC reduces the process gas replacement time and enhances the response time to process changes. The SGC is a revolutionary process analyzing instrument featuring high reliability and ease of use
