Abstract :
With improving the people´s requirements on the vehicle driving comfort, safety and energy conservation, robust control algorithms are widely used in the electric power steering (EPS) control systems. Aiming at the poor real-time and high cost of the robust controller for high order, the descending order method based on the optimal integral square error (ISE) model is proposed. The method is used to descend the robust controller order of the EPS system. And simulating and comparing with the descending order method based on the optimal Hankel norm, the results show that the descending order method based on the optimal ISE has better results, and the order-reduced system has very good robustness.
