Abstract :
In this paper, a novel passive voltage-clamping snubber is presented and applied to the coupled-boost converter with single phase considered. This snubber clamps the voltage across the main switch to some value and pumps the energy stored in the snubber into the input not only to reduce the electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise but also to enhance the efficiency. Some simulated and experimental results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed snubber.
