Abstract :
In this paper, a new voltage-boosting converter, combining the charge pump and the coupling inductor, is presented, together with a passive voltage-clamping circuit which pumps some portion of the snubber energy to the output so as to increase the efficiency at light load. Finally, some derivations, and simulated and experimental results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed voltage-boosting converter topology.
