Abstract :
In this paper, the author introduces the improved optical frequency comb generator (OFCG). The OFCG is based on a Ti diffused LiNbO3 waveguide electro-optic phase modulator in which coated mirrors on both end facets of the modulator form a Fabry-Perot cavity. It offers significant advantages in terms of lowered drive voltages and higher mechanical stability as compared with bulk-type OFCG.
