Abstract :
The problem of propagation of a periodic optical pulse sequence through a linear dispersive fiber is investigated in the joint time-frequency domain. This study provides a new and deeper insight into the dynamics of formation of the integer and fractional temporal Talbot patterns which are observed along the fiber propagation distance.
