Abstract :
A scheme for the speed control of permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), based on second order sliding-mode-control (SO-SMC) algorithm using proportional-plus-integral (PI) sliding plane, is presented in this paper. The model of the PMSM, based on field-oriented, is given and both of second-order sliding mode control law and PI sliding plan are discussed also. Some experiments of simulations have been made for examine the effects of the scheme. And the results show that the method motioned in this paper represents more accurate tracking and robust performance than conventional first order sliding-mode-control (FO-SMC) under uncertainty about the motor and load parameters and external load disturbances.
