Abstract :
Nowadays, embedded system is one of most popular and promising fields of IT applications, and embedded technology will be more extensive development. ARM processor becomes a mainstream processor in the embedded system because of the characteristics of high cost and low power cost. A video acquisition system using ARMS3C2440 microprocessor is designed, and the entire functional module based on V4L is realized. Vimicro USB camera device is used in the video acquisition system, and its driver is completed. The final experimental results show that can achieve capture continuously clear images, capability of the system is excellent, and the system is practical.
