Abstract :
This paper puts forward a design scheme of embedded numerical control (NC) system on the basis of micro controller units (ARM and DSP), and that based on the real time operating system (muC/OS-II). The embedded NC system is provided with network functions and can satisfy different requirements of the processing. Also it is easy to extend and reduce the functions according to practical demands. At the same time, the real-time performance and reliability are improved. Methods and processes to implement each module of the central control unit of this embedded NC system are expounded in detail mainly.
