            Abstract : 
Within the context for dynamic spectrum access and the new trends for exploiting the unused UHF TV bands, this paper presents a multi-vision system based on Cognitive Radio technology. Wavelet packet technology is used both for identification of white spaces and broadcasting HDTV contents. Specifically, we propose a short-range home distribution system for the wireless retransmission of HDTV contents received by a DVB decoder in the re-allocated 52-69 channels of the 700 MHz UHF TV-band.
