Abstract :
Military Automatic Target-scoring System can avoid the defects in efficiency, reliablity, safety, which exist in traditional counting system made by manpower, it can implement fast and precise counting. We take Chest silhouette as studying object, detail each selected method of image processing and image recognition in the Auto-counting System. In addition, the results of all algorithms that MATLAB imitated come to the army´s need. The work flow of this Auto-counting system can be composed of these phases: Target image Rectification, Bullet-spot´s extraction, Bullet-spot´s Recognition and Scoring.
