  • Abstract
    DCS system has been widely applied in petrochemical, electric, metallurgical and other industries, and plays an important role for the stability, safety and reliable operation of the industrial production process. How to do a correct evaluation to the functions, performance, reliability and safety of the DCS system, is basis and foundation to ensure the safety and reliable operation of the DSC system. This paper mainly analyzed and discussed the DCS system function and safety evaluation. The safety evaluation in chemical and petrochemical industries of the DCS system operation sectors, belongs to the safety integrated evaluation of the status quo. And providing the main contents, the safety evaluation methods and the principles of choice.
