Abstract
Coal safety requirements in the cement industry are discussed. Safety requirements associated with coal grinding, drying, blending, transporting, and storing are also examined. Case histories investigated by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) are discussed, and recommendations are made for future fire and explosion prevention
