Abstract :
According to the evaluation requirements of the goods train coupler, a coupler automatic measurement system has been proposed via using line structural light scanning technology and combining with movement mechanism. The system measuring model, the parameters calibration and the coupler´s point cloud data processing are introduced in this article. Field trial application results have shown that the system met the five detection indexes of all type Goods Train Coupler, and reached the goods train coupler automatic measuring requirements.
