Abstract :
The electrodischarge XeCl-laser with a UV-preionization was developed. Preliminary experiments on the effect of UV-radiation of the XeCl-laser on the surface of different polymer coatings were carried out with the purpose of increase of their adhesion to substrates and endurance. The influence of UV-radiation of the XeCl-laser on the surface of different metals is investigated for magnification of their surface hardness, endurance and microhardness.
