Abstract :
In order to make rapid grade evaluation after Meteorological Disasters, a decision tree model is used in this paper. By using the data mining technology, we establish a classification model based on C4.5 algorithm to forecast meteorological disasters level at the fastest time. For illustration, 1991-2000 China major flood disaster data sample is utilized to show the decision tree model in solving the evaluation problem with three decision attributes and one grade attributes. Empirical results show that the decision tree model can make flood disaster grade evaluation after meteorological disasters according to the real-time data that we have got with the monitoring equipment. The model can be applied to other types of meteorological disasters grade evaluation. The research result provides a strong basis for the government to make a rapid emergency plan after disasters.
