Abstract :
In order to analyze the formation flight of micro air vehicles (MAV), the precision MAV models are built under 3DSMAX, the realistic natural background is generated under Vue6.0. An interface program written in MAXscript language was designed to import the data of flight route. The usual error sources in visual navigation are modeled in this simulation platform, to verify the visual relative navigation algorithm. According to simulation experiments, the simulation platform base on 3DSMAX provides a strong support for the designing and testing of the visual relative navigation algorithm for the formation flight of MAV.
