Abstract :
The process of formation of the spectrum of a flash-lamp-pumped tuned dye laser (DL) is studied. The dependence of the lasing wavelength on parameters of an active medium and resonator is found. It is shown, that inhomogeneous distribution of the triplet-triplet absorption in the selective resonator can result in a modification not only spectral, but also temporary characteristics of the pulse radiation of DL.
