Abstract :
From management of production and resource chain to auto-charge of parking system and freeway tall-gate, from food tracking mechanism to security identification, the application of RFID has been comprehensively expanded into every corner of our life, as well as establishing a super-rapid increasing market scope. Traditional conference management that relies on manual identification and interminable sign-in list, is with low efficiency, large workload and high error possibility. The development of RFID brings feasibility and efficiency to an intelligent conference management system. An RFID based conference management system concerning in this paper implements the integration of China Mobile two-dimensional code electronic voucher, OCR recognition, Image field acquisition, information statistic and text message platform, via which the system can be applied for management in scales of conference and exhibition. The system is multi-conference management enabled and is able to simplify conference procedure including conventioneer registration, seat order arrangement, hotel room distribution and agenda advertisement in a electronized and informatized way, so that to realize the high efficiency and low error ratio of managing a conference system. In this paper, we propose a way of designing and implementing an RFID based conference management system to achieve the above goals, by figuring a background study to RFID and related works as a start, and presenting the process to the system design & implementation, in the end, prospects will be exhibited with assessment to accomplished work and estimation to future research in the field.
