Abstract
One major Disadvantage of OFDM is the high peak-to-average Power ratios (PAPR). There is a procedure for Selected Mapping (SLM) is PAPR reduction techniques for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). But these reduction techniques produce high computation complexity which is costly and time consuming. In this paper we proposed a scheme to reduce the computational complexity of SLM technique in OFDM using threshold SLM based technique (TSLM) which is comparatively more efficient then the PAPR technique in OFDM. Our technique is one of the strongest candidates for Future wireless communication.
