Abstract :
A new blind channel estimation method based on singular value decomposition (SVD) for a multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system is described. This channel estimation method is accompanied by a simple block pre-coding scheme. Computer simulations for a 2times2 MIMO OFDM system are presented followed by a discussion of advantages and disadvantages of the proposed channel estimation method.
