            Abstract : 
The paper considers the problem of stabilizing a first-order system with dead-time and an integrator using the PID, PI, PD and P controllers. Using the classical D partition method, simple and efficient computational methods for synthesis of such controllers are given. Examples illustrate the applicability of the proposed methods.
