Abstract :
This study developed a new computer aided method in geometry optimization of electro- or acoustooptical interaction based on spatial anisotropy complete 3D-analysis of electro- or acoustooptical effect in crystal materials. This method allows substantially improving an efficiency of such modulators and has been used by us for geometry optimization of acoustooptical interaction in β-BaB2O4 crystals, which are a promising acoustooptical material.
