Abstract :
Results of a case study of the development of information technologies and their role in educational process in the National University of Uzbekistan (NUUz) has been presented. The study focuses on the practice and achievements of international projects in this sphere. A number of problems related to designing, building and maintaining of Uzbekistan Universities Network (UZUNINET/UZNANETU) and implementation of new teaching methods have been discussed
