Abstract :
In this paper a blind equalization method is presented, which uses the watermark of a transmitted watermarked signal as a reference training sequence. DS-CDMA based spread spectrum watermarking scheme is used here. In this method, watermark is sent through the channel along with the watermarked image. On receiving side, watermark is extracted from the watermarked image and by using received and extracted watermark channel is estimated. Therefore, the receiver does not require to know the training sequence in advance. Afterwards, received data (watermarked image) is equalized by using Normalized LMS algorithm. Simulations have proven that this scheme is very effective in correcting errors from received watermarked images.
