Abstract
The “State Change Equation” for the mechanical calculation of the overhead cables for transportation and distribution of electric power is a cubic polynomial function that is currently solved by numerical methods or trial and error. In the present research are developed deductions that allow to find a mathematical formula to perform these calculations directly and accurately.
