Abstract :
Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) was a program on Microelectronic Materials and Processing in a cooperative research program funded by the National Science Foundation. This program has had ten summer participants in each of 1992, 1993, and 1994. The focus of the REU site has been the synthesis, processing, properties, structure, and performance of microelectronic materials. To date, more than 90% of all the participants that have graduated are presently attending graduate school
