Abstract
Advanced distributed services design is a multi-domain problem. Each domain represents a set of design concerns or system view. Designing distributed advanced communications services require striking balance for performance, real-timeliness, reliability while maintaining cost and adhering to business rules. Multi-domain simulation framework proposed in the paper, proposes a methodology and an implementation to integrate multiple simulations of large communication networks where each simulation focuses on a particular system view. The methodology is demonstrated through a distributed multi-media system design
