Abstract :
The aim of the project is to design a test procedure for determining a reliable measurement or measurements from the pendulum test used to achieve more comprehensive information about the spasticity phenomenon. It intends to standardize the protocol as well as the instrumentation required for making this possible. With a standardized test we will be able to compare the measurements among different research groups and this will allow a better interpretation of the results obtained. Furthermore, the information gathered could be shared between therapists and researchers so they can have a better understanding about spasticity, especially for Functional Electric Stimulation (FES) related programs
