Abstract :
The authors have studied the saturation characteristic of equivalent circuit of cylindrical synchronous machine. Using the measured data, the authors have studied the effect on the saturation characteristic of equivalent circuits by the finite element method (FEM) and the electromagnetic transients program (ATP-EMTP).
