Abstract
An on-line diagnosis of three-phase induction motor using an automatic algorithm based on Park´s vector approach is presented. This algorithm uses the eigenvalue approach and allows an interpretation of the /spl alpha//spl beta/-vector. In fact, stator current /spl alpha//spl beta/-vector patterns are first obtained, then the eigenvalue algorithm is used to see if the motor is healthy or not. Experimental results are presented in order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
