Abstract :
Basically in the foundation of the proposed accurate numerical model lies an integral presentation of the vector wave equation solutions for elastic media. In the analytical problem solution the ocean is taken in the form of a horizontally stratified liquid layer with completely resilient upper boundary. The bottom is presented as combination of several horizontally stratified layers and the lower of them is a uniform elastic half-space. Media properties are presented by their thickness and elasticity parameters: longitudinal and shear wave velocities, absorption coefficients in the form of the frequency dependent imaginary part of layers´ wave propagation velocities or densities. A corresponding computer program is also available and its possibilities are demonstrated
