Abstract :
Based on the theoretical hypothesis that e-business will lead to friction-free trade, this paper chooses price data of 50 types of DV and DC product from multichannel retailers\´ (MCRs) and pure online retailers\´ (dotcoms), and makes empirical study. The results show that: on the degree of price disperse, dotcoms\´ prices disperse is lower than MCRs\´, and this difference is significant on random chosen model, which partly supports the hypothesis mentioned above. Besides, empirical results indicate that there are different price-competition strategies between best- selling model and random-chosen model product for two kinds of retailers on B2C market as well as "festival effect".
