Abstract :
We describe the DPG Optical Harness™ technologies that replace electrical wiring harnesses in aircraft, while conforming to the definitions of the SAE WDM LAN standard for Client Adaptation Elements (CAEs). Testing has validated the performance of the Optical Harness™ wiring replacement technologies, confirmed conformance with the specifications of the SAE WDM LAN standard, and advanced the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of the constituent technologies.
