Abstract :
Y-shaped branches of post array waveguide consist of dielectric cylinders for microwave around 4GHz were experimentally and numerically investigated. In the waveguide with a pair of 1 layer of cylinders, confinement of microwave is poor at branching point and along with waveguides. The confinement was improved by increase of post wall up to 3 layers. These results are applicable for design and fabrication of integrated circuit for microwave and millimeter wave.
