Abstract :
Rescue helicopters have to be versatile under any weather condition. By flying at low altitude they are facing targets, such as power lines, that may not be detected in the visual flight rules. In order to overcome this problem, a global system achieving an image fusion between a CCD, an infrared camera and a mm-Wave FMCW radar was developed.
