Abstract :
Properties of a multiple tree-based network called KYKLOS are presented and examined. The general form of KYKLOS is an interconnection network consisting of r sets of m-ary trees joined so that they share a common set of leaf nodes. It is shown that this structure effectively supports the parallel executions of database operations such as the join. A brief description of the hardware of a single I/O node is included
