Abstract :
In this paper, we describe a novel model (a generalized Gamma pulse) and several model-based analysis and visualization techniques for contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) image sequences. These techniques include vector images and quantitative measurement, vector image segmentation, interactive image sequence exploration, and noise and speckle reduction. Experimental results indicate that the proposed model fits CEUS video clips well and the proposed analysis and visualization techniques can potentially make it easier to visualize, explore, and detect diagnostically relevant patterns/structures
