Abstract
Rapid growth in Information Communication Technology (ICT) and mobile phone technologies enable users to perform online transactions from mobile phones/computers from anywhere, at any time. Hence users need to manage multiple online accounts. Consequently users key-in multiple login information to authenticate/access them. Thus it is difficult for users to manage multiple online account credentials. Currently users intend to have common credentials for all the online accounts or store them in a text file in mobile phone and manually access the file whenever they need login credentials. This is a serious security threat for users, who are more vulnerable to credentials theft due to eavesdropping, shoulder surfing when they perform transactions at un-sanitized environment such as public internet cafe. In this paper we implement a novel authentication scheme- Secure Personal Authentication through Remote System for E-Transactions (SPARSE) - Identity Based Elliptic Curve Encryption technique which facilitates user with an ease to operate multiple online account transaction authentication without the need to remember credentials on mobile phone device. .
