Abstract :
This paper reports on a project-based training approach carried out by a student-staff team, focused on the acquisition of basic skills in active systems design. ´Systems´ refers to systematics and ´active´ is used to signify actuator control. The project focus ranged from the initial choice of the project topic to the first steps of prototype construction
