Abstract :
Choloroquine is mostly prescribed by rheumatologists and dermatologists for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus respectively. It is well known that choloroquine has an adverse effect on the visual system. Electrooculography (EOG) is an electrophysiological technique which can be used to diagnose the harmful effect of choloroquine on the retina. Here, the author discusses the retinal changes during choloroquine consumption and its early diagnosis by EOG
