Abstract :
Ground-penetrating radars have been in use for years. A fundamental problem has, however, been an unacceptably high false alarm rate in many circumstances. The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is therefore currently developing an advanced ultrawideband ground penetrating radar system (RadioStar) that is expected to improve the performance, in particular in the field of mine detection
