Abstract :
The paper deals with the problem of robust speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motors. In the paper an artificial neural network (ANN) was applied to design a robust controller. An original method of neural controller synthesis was presented in the paper. Application of this synthesis ensured a robustness of the speed control against variation of moment of inertia. Simulation and laboratory investigation results proved good robustness of the system
