Abstract :
In this article, a three-layer rectangular patch with similar geometry, thin substrates and air gaps, backed by a ground plane is simulated as the element of reflectarray, in order to broaden the bandwidth and to extend the dynamic range of phase compensation. The simulated results show that, besides 700deg dynamic range of reflection phase is approached under the normal incidence, a polarisation transform can be performed for reducing the feed blockage.
